As part of this project, we were asked to recreate a banned advertisement. I chose Zomato’s campaign that attempted to communicate its A–Z food variety using slang-based wordplay, which ultimately led to the ad being banned. I recreated the ad by retaining the core idea of showcasing Zomato’s wide range of dishes, while reworking the language and execution to be more considered and platform-appropriate, allowing the concept to exist without relying on the elements that caused it to be taken down.
